A firefighter in Sacramento was walking on the sidewalk when he saw the little brown hummingbird. It had fallen out of its nest. It would die if he didn’t do anything to help it.
fox40.comSo he scooped up the little bird and brought it with him. He named the bird Pat because he wasn’t sure if it was male or female.
The firefighter managed to save the little birds life by feeding it sugar water using a feeding tool. For two days the bird was fed the sugar water and got stronger and healthier.
