Elon Musk Thinks Having More Kids Makes Him An Exceptional Rich; Here’s What Is Wrong With His Argument – Tech

If you’ve been off the social media radar for a while, here’s a briefer on the whimsical life of the world’s richest billionaire Elon Musk.

And now has claimed himself to be

While responding to a report shared by a twitterati on the declining birth rate in the US. Musk tweeted, taking a contrarian stance amongst billionaires.

Let’s check how many kids the top 5 richest billionaires have

5th richest Gautam Adani – 2

4th richest Bill Gates – 3

3rd richest Bernard Arnault – 5

2nd richest Jeff Bezos – 4

Elon Musk – 8 (can make a good tug-of-war team eh?)

While it’s quite a blessing to have kids, however the simplest thumb rule to survive a planet that is terrifyingly running out of natural resources and most of all food, it makes more sense to have fewer kids! Now it could also be a cultural thing in some tribes and society but with lifestyle changes in the last 10 decades have put us on the ledge. We are at a tipping point. At this point we also arrive at a barrage of conspiracy theories including the Bill Gates vaxx that is supposed to eradicate most of the world population to sustain the Earth. Truckload of conspiracy theories yet not even a bucketload of evidence to substantiate. While Elon thinks more population is a good thing for the planet, maybe he needs to ask himself then ‘Why Mars?’

Tweeple were quick to show where Musk’s argument fails to hold any merit

Folks who actually rally for bigger fam remarked that it all depends on fair wages and taxes.

Now there are hundreds and thousands of tweets that we cannot possibly chaff through. Rising population has a direct correlation with rising poverty and the US is not an exception. Let’s come closer home. It’s applied common sense if we just walk out of our mundane cubicle existence to see how human beings survive on the street. They scramble for a scoopful of meals. Homeless and draped in rags, they lack the most basic of amenities we would so take for granted. Most of all they lack a ‘dignified’ existence. Yes charities abound and occasionally your heart might melt for ‘em but there’s a huge chasm between ‘em and ‘us’ the more privileged. While space restricts form discussing the nuances of it all the heart of the issue is ‘equity’. Resources are limited or gate-keeped. Privileges are limited or gate-keeped. How would you raise a slice of your soul in a world with scarce resources and scarcer humanity?

Not to diss folks with more than a couple of kids but
